Making Sense of Tomorrow's Technology—Today

Welcome, I’m Scott, aka Prof C, and I turn complex emerging technologies into clear, actionable insights through writing, speaking, and advisory work that cuts through the hype.

ABOUT PROF C

A Leader in the Human-Side of Technology👨‍💻

J. Scott Christianson—known as “Prof C”—is an award-winning educator, author, and technology strategist who transforms complex emerging technologies into actionable insights for global audiences.

An Associate Teaching Professor Emeritus at the University of Missouri and former Director of its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Professor Christianson has dedicated his career to a singular mission: helping leaders and learners think critically about artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things—without the hype or complexity.

WHAT I DO

SPEAKING & WORKSHOPS

Engaging. Interactive. Actually Useful.

I deliver keynotes, guest lectures, and workshops that don’t just inform—they involve. Whether you’re looking for someone to speak on AI ethics, blockchain applications, entrepreneurial strategy, or the future of technology in education, I create sessions that spark discussion and drive real understanding.

My audiences range from university students to corporate teams to nonprofit boards. What they all get is the same thing: complex ideas made accessible, delivered with energy and plenty of room for questions.

Wondering what I could do for YOUR audience? Let’s have a conversation about your event goals, your attendees, and the topics that matter most to your organization. A 20-minute call will help us figure out if we’re a good match—and what kind of session would deliver the most value.
